About the artist



Jovana Kukić is a multidisciplinary international artist and art educator. She was born in Belgrade, Serbia, raised in Harare, Zimbabwe and has lived in ten different countries to date. She has visited many places throughout her life and derives her inspiration from the people she meets and the sights she sees along the way.

Having started working with mentors from the early age of 7, by the age of 13 she won a prestigious award and had her work hung at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. By the age of 17, she had her first exhibition. Over the years she has exhibited her work globally and collectors purchase her art from all over the world. Since the age of 22 she also began teaching Visual Arts internationally, and has helped many students find their artistic voices.

Jovana prides herself on growth, trying new things and challenging herself. This is evident in her versatile portfolio. From painting, to photography to digital art and beyond, Jovana consistently aims to create innovative imagery and experiment with media. Much of her art is meant to be a vessel for understanding of cultural diversity and awareness of global issues.

Due to the fact that the mission and vision of her art is very much tied to a kinder today and a better tomorrow, 10% of all sales go toward charity.
