Many pieces have been inspired by nature, as this is were serenity lies. An example is “The Black Lake” found in Montenegro. The artist spent many of her summers in Montenegro and on this particular exploration of the country, camped in the area known as Žabljak. It is an area which has one of the highest altitudes in the balkan region and is surrounded by numerous lakes and mountain tops. The artist captures her travel and exploration by documenting it in visual form. These pieces were created in quaint and peaceful places, places perfect for escape.
